Thought of Chiropractic care for your dogs????

We have a Chocolate female that is nine months old, Bentley. Bentley has been having an issue being lame on her left back leg. X-Rays have been done, multiple vets have been consulted, nothing looks amiss!

Now, I have nieces that use and rave about chiropractic care for their horses, I honestly thought, “wow, really?” But Dr. Leighland at Catoosa Small Animal Hospital suggested I try it for Bentley.

Since being advised I have done tons of research on the topic. According to most everything I have read, our dogs can really benefit from this care. Like us humans, our dogs can benefit from the proper alignment of their musculoskeletal system, and in particular their spine.

Chiropractic care has been proven to be effective at alleviating the symptoms and treating the underlying cause of the following conditions:

  • Arthritis
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Gastrointestinal problems
  • Healing after trauma, specifically tissue healing and muscle growth
  • Hip dysplasia
  • Incontinence
  • Mobility issues such as difficulty going up or down stairs
  • Muscle spasms
  • Nerve problems
  • Reproductive issues
  • Respiratory problems
  • Separation anxiety
  • Skin problems like allergic dermatitis and ringworm
  • Stiffness and tension
  • Stress caused by travel
  • Travel sickness

Look at all the areas our dogs can benefit!! After asking around and researching some more I choose Elevation Animal Chiropractor and I could not be more pleased!!

Dr. Hermes was amazing, he explained everything he was doing and why. He was very open to all my questions and incredibly informative. I hope that he can help Bentley and I encourage everyone to look into chiropractic care to help our furry family members!!
